Debt free Financial
Counseling
Mr. Alex P. Gilliam, Minister
As Christian stewards, it is important to understand just how much
wealth is available to all of God’s children. However, before
one can appreciate the wealth that God has placed in this world
for his elect, it is first necessary for people to understand why
it is important for Christians to have control of that wealth. God
has given his people a plan (2 Corinthians 9:8) and He has empowered
us to accomplish His plan! Believer’s need a new mentality
of abundance, that is, having enough for yourself is not having
enough! Believers need enough for themselves and enough to GIVE
GENEROUSLY to fund the local church ministries. |

Pre-Marital Counseling
Pastor Leo Hughey and First Lady Wilma Hughey
Our society requires intensive training to receive a driver’s
license. The assumption is bad things will happen when we allow
someone to drive without first learning the critical skills of safe
and expert driving. Unfortunately, our society is only now waking
up to the fact that bad things happen when we allow couples to marry
without learning critical relational skills and biblical principles.
Five sessions of professional counseling is required before the
spiritual pastoral counseling is initiated. |

Victorious Women Ministry
Dr. Wilma J. Hughey, First Lady
Meet every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
The call to the women at FTCC is to come together in the spirit
of genuine love through intercession, the Word, spiritual warfare,
and victorious praise to call forth those things that God has
promised and purposed in women’s lives. We sense a mighty
move of God in our lives, and we know that we are not empty vessels,
for the Holy Spirit is flowing through us to anoint us to conquer
every obstacle. We are in a war and God has provided weapons in
the Spirit capable of and purposed for bringing down strongholds.
We know that our weapons are mighty through God! |

Board of Deacons
The position of deacon in the congregational church is one of respected
service. No amount of devotion, ability, and preparation can be
considered as overabundant for individuals who serve as deacons.
The Deacon is not ‘called’ but appointed to serve god,
the Pastor, and the congregation. The two major concepts of readiness
are: requisites (what is required) and qualifications (1Tim. 3:8-13).

Vision of Praise
Praise to God is offered in many different expressive ways. Women
of all ages, backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to become
involved in the Visions of Praise flag and tambourine ministry.
The inter-generational flag & step ministry made up of mothers,
grandmothers, and even great-grandmothers who find the Saturday
afternoon rehearsal to be a time of fun, support, and spiritual
fellowship. The Visions of Praise Ministry performs on the fourth
Sunday morning in the worship and praise service. |

Lions of Judah
The men in this ministry are dedicated to ensure the protection,
security, comfort, and assistance of everyone in attendance to church
activities. To become involved in this ministry, men must demonstrate
a passion to serve, and be ready to assist in all areas of ‘managing
the entire physical house’ during worship time. Upon completing
the Membership Covenant men are welcomed and encouraged to become
a Lion of Judah. On his deathbed Jacob called his sons to his side
for their final blessing: “Judah is a lion’s whelp;
on prey, my son, have you grown. He crouches, lies down like a lion,
like the king of the beasts; who dare rouse him? The scepter shall
never depart from Judah nor the ruler’s staff from between
his feet; so that tribute shall come to him and the homage of peoples
be his.” Genesis 49:10. |

Media Ministry
Persons skilled in technology are very much needed in today’s
New Testament church. The use of sound and vision has enhanced the
ministry significantly, bringing worship and praise to an even higher
level. Individuals who dedicate themselves to sound, projection,
and cameras must be as prayerfully accurate as the prayer warriors,
for the service, at times, is in the hands of the Media to promote
God’s kingdom. |

Elders's and Minister's Wives
Board
The Minister’s and Elder’s Wives Circle is an organized
group of women whose spouse is a Minister or Elder. The wife must
love her husband and the people he serves. The wives are helpers,
counselors and examples. Personally, the wife is a source of inspiration
and great influence in her husband’s life. The wife is a model
of patience, enduarance, forebearance and a heart full of love and
understanding for everyone. The State Ministers and Elders Circle
work closely with the State Supervisor and District Missionaries
to keep their husbands informed of the women’s programs. |
|
Mother's Board
This board is a group of mature women whose spiritual life experiences
have grounded them in the faith. These seasoned women must know
their obligation to God, the pastor, laity and to the church in
order to teach others. Members on this Board are qualified by the
bible as outlined in Titus 2 as a pastoral appointment. Spiritual
mothers are always prepared to share biblical truths and wisdom
to help in improving lives and families. |

Outreach
Jesus said, “You will be my witnesses”(Matt.5:16). Therefore,
the priority of the church is to witness for Jesus. Every activity
and ministry of the church must point people to Jesus. At FTCC we
recognize that there are hurting people in our community, and our
neighborhood and our desire and mission is to lead them to Christ.
The strategy from which our Outreach is planned is Acts 1:8
His Priority: "My witness."
His Plan: "In Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and
to the ends of the earth."
His Personnel: "You will be."
His Power: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes
upon you." |
